Strange things are afoot.

About Me
Oh, hello. I'm Emily Babel. I draw weird little pals and put them on things. (People included.)
I'm an Ohio-based illustrator and tattoo apprentice with a soft spot for woodland creatures, ghosts, cryptids, folklore, and anything a little strange.

The Story of Inlé
There's an old rabbit word, Inlé. It means moon. It means darkness. It means the quiet edge where fear and death and mystery live. The rabbits of Watership Down feared it and respected it in the same breath. (Same.)
I believe in ghosts (genuinely) and I've always felt a little like one myself: quiet, watchful, drawn to the unseen. But I'm sunshine too. I was even born on a sunny Sunday (feels a little on the nose). I like my spooky things with some warmth in them.
I draw woodland creatures with a little too much knowing in their eyes and ghosts who feel more like old friends than warnings. Give me folklore. Bring me strange little creatures. Let's go deep into the woods seeking bones, bugs, magic, and anything else that makes us ask what's beyond the trees.
My ideal age is 104, an old witch in the woods with animal companions, handing out herbs and stories to anyone who wanders by.
Haunted by nature. Sunny by design.
A little strange, a little tender, permanently yours.
So, What Are We Making?
Bring me your strange ideas, favorite creatures, forest things, ghosts, oddities, and questionable characters that probably need naming.
